When making a MySpace layout, what size should the background be.?

I put 1024 x 768, but the background comes out in the middle. It doesn't come out stretched.

Most layouts are usually like under 800x600 and just gradually go out into a solid color that the rest of the myspace layout is. That way itll look great no matter what anyones screen resolution is.

use CSS if you aren't already...make sure the img is fixed...and if that doesn't work then maybe the URL is for the same image just smaller...like maybe the URL is for a thumbnail view...make sure you are view the entire true to size background when you get the URL from Properties...It's kinda hard to explain...hope I helped!
